Ralston Leads Revs to Victory
The New England Revolution took a two-goal lead into the final half hour of the match thanks to Steve Ralston and survived a late scare from Toronto to come away with a 2-1 victory Saturday. Despite the late goal, and another late chance for Toronto, the Revs looked the better team from start to finish for the first time in recent weeks in earning their ninth win of the season in front of 15,863 at Gillette Stadium.
The win guarantees the Revolution coaching staff, led by Nicol, will lead the MLS All-Stars against West Ham on July 24.
