Revs sign defender Britner to developmental contract

According to a Revolution press release, third round draft pick and Brown University alumnus Matthew Britner has just been signed by the Revolution and will wear #28:
The New England Revolution today announced that defender Matthew Britner has signed a Major League Soccer contract to play for the Revs. Per team and league policies, terms of the contract were not released. Britner, a native of Canada, will also occupy one of the team’s eight international roster spots and will also fill one of the team’s 10 developmental roster slots.
